Went here last night. We hadn’t realized that they changed their menu two weeks ago. The old menu was seafood focused and got some nice reviews but the new menu is quite boring – wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads. Very “safe” bar-style foods.
Good news is that the food was pretty good. Burgers were cooked nicely, and there were some interesting topping choices. Fried chicken sandwich was really good, and for me was equally enjoyable as Bakesale Betty’s. You had to order fries as an additional item, but the $4 servings were generous – we had both sweet potato and parmesan/truffle.
Nice selection of beers on tap, also wine and cocktails.
Probably destination worthy, but if you want a decent burger or a good chicken sandwich in downtown Berkeley, this place is good.
