No different than the “White Person Tax” at many Chinese restaurants.
And similar upcharges in other countries, as the comments describe, and at different times of year. I was in Telluride, Colorado just before their jazz festival, and on our last day the menu prices increased quite a bit. I asked, and they said “festival prices”.
