In 1975, The Beach Boys drew too big of a crowd for the 1,500-capacity Armadillo, so they performed at the 6,000-capacity Municipal Auditorium, known today as the Long Center for Performing Arts, a block away. Still, they hired The ’Dillo kitchen to serve them shrimp enchiladas.’
