It’s no secret that I’ve been a fan of America’s Test Kitchen for many years.
Yesterday, I saw on the ATK Facebook page that one of my favorite contributors, Elle Simone Scott, passed at age 49.
I thoroughly enjoyed her contributions… she brought a fresh and happy vibe to all her segments and always seemed to enjoy what she was preparing.
Elle, you will be missed.
I knew that she had ovarian cancer; was just watching her the other day and I must have had some sort of a premonition, because I looked her up.
She was by far my favorite person on the show.
I think I have subscribed to CI since it was Cook’s but I didn’t watch the show much recently and I missed out! Thank you for the heads up; I am checking her out. I am also checking out her book Food Gifts.
Yes, she was a sweetheart! They find good people on ATK and Cook’s Country.
I liked Elle. I’m going to miss her.
I was so sorry to hear this - I enjoyed her work on ATK greatly.
Very sad., and too young. I really enjoyed her segments and the recipes she shared on the show.
I love her book Food Gifts! I’m sad to hear of her death.
She came across as a very sweet, kind person.
She was the perfect person to write the loving and caring Food Gifts book. Thought of every detail along with lovely ways to package and wrap it.
