If you’re up for a splurge, I love the breakfast buffet at Le Grand Balcon in the St George Lycabettus hotel. It’s located in Kolonaki, an artsy upscale district with galleries and coffee shops.

If you like museums, the Benaki museum has a nice collection.

The Electra Palace Hotel in Plaka also has a nice breakfast. I prefer the location of the St George Lycabettus Hotel, but the Electra Palace is a nice place to stay. https://www.electrahotels.gr/hotels/electra-palace-athens/

I have to spend more time in Piraeus next time. I went there to get my ferry to Syros twice, and yhen when i returned, but i did not even stop for a bite.
I do not splurge every day but a good one can make the week so much better!
