Two Michelin stars, a rural and tiny town, and some (I think justifiably) upset neighbors.
Not only a tiny hamlet - but a tiny restaurant as well. Just 35 covers apparently - which does not lead me to conclude there are genuine major traffic issues.
And, let’s be practical here. The claim that local residents are having to park “miles” away because of diners parking nearby is obvious nonsense.
Such a difficult topic.
Aye, maybe the problem is this:
“Unfortunately, the business does not bring anything positive to the village. The owners and staff show no interest in the village and have no interaction with residents."
The restaurant should throw a big party to invite the villagers for a meal, getting to know your neighbour is important.
but he’s a visionary with raw talent
I suspect you’re right, naf. I’ve never lived in a very small community but I imagine it could be very insular and, seemingly as here, resentful of “incomers”.
Live and let live doesnt work long term in my experience. Usually leds to resentments. Seeing both sides as equal pcs to a challenging puzzle req communication. Imagine that.
