Wondering if it’s possible to search my inbox like we can the rest of the site?
Looking for a message from someone about something a while ago, and trying not to have scroll the entire lot of messages to find that one 
Yes. If you go to your messages inbox and click the search icon it will default to searching your messages (you’ll see “In messages” in the left portion of the search bar).

While it did not default to searching in messages, there was a box to click under that said “search messages”
