A nice food-centric day yesterday in Ipswich. Started the day at Appleton Farms, a beautiful Trustees of Reservations property, which we’ve never visited. Spring onion was excited to look at the all the veggies and especially the cornfields since our neighborhood farm, LexFarm, doesn’t grow corn. The farm made such an impression on him that once we were home, he constructed a farm out of his Brio train set. Nice farm stand and PYO CSA. Lunch was at Ipswich Ale Brewers Table. Food was as good as ever - perfectly cooked burger for B and the LGBT (lobster, gouda, bacon - given to B to top his burger, tomato on ciabatta). Stopped by Wilson Farm on our way home to get corn for a corn, arugula, tomato salad.
