So just to put a cap on this thread, just back from Italy visiting Amalfi coast area and Rome. So Pomme Frites are as expected non existent unless you count the Irish pubs in Sorrento making excellent fish and chips. However from the dumpiest place to some really great restaurants every single place made perfect Aperol Spritz’s and we had quite a few
