Heading over for an afternoon. Besides pizza, is there anything good nearby?
I’ve been saving this article for a while. Not for the info on the grounds themselves but because they mention a Trinidadian restaurant. I’ve never been but want to.

Oh, that sounds delightful! My mom lives right near there. I’m going to put it on my calendar to try it out!
We ate at the restaurant on grounds. I had been hesitant as I read many mixed reviews. It completed a delightful day. We sat outside and was very lovely.
Is it still called Rats? Curious as to when you were there…
I keep saying I need to get there. The Sprout is home from college (at least for now, hopefully not for too long) and really wants to go so I think this may be the time to actually get to the Grounds.
Funny–just had a conversation about it yesterday; I haven’t taken that field trip yet either!
The couple times I ate at Rats I really enjoyed it. It’s lovely there and I liked the food.
The Rat’s menu changes often. Its a nice stop for a light meal. The two local eateries linked above are far more interesting and reasonably priced but the Rats space is worth taking in if only for a nibble.
I really am going to try to make it there this summer. I’ll let you know.
