Anyone visited MOFAD in Brooklyn?

The Museum of Food & Drink is a work in progress. Has anyone visited the building in Brooklyn? They have exhibitions and discussion groups on our favorite topic. What is it like? www.mofad.org

Yes, I went to the inaugural exhibit, Flavor: Making It and Faking It. The space is pleasant but not very big; it took me about an hour to see everything (and I took my time). Lots of interactive stuff, tastings, timelines, and videos. I’ll go to the new exhibit, Chow, when one of the guest chefs is making something I want to eat.

Thanks, small h. Is there a general entrance fee, or do you pay per exhibition?

It was $10, and the museum only has one exhibit at a time. Join their mailing list (there’s a link at the bottom of the site’s home page), and they’ll send you notice of special programs.
