I fear that the thread is inevitably heading towards political discussion, which means it has a short life. I am desperate to chip in, from this side of the Atlantic, but will hold off till tomorrow (if its still alive).

Earlier on this thread, I mentioned that we buy from a local wine shop owned by a sole proprietor. Today she mentioned to my husband that she expects her imported rosé wines to arrive a month late this season, because importers were trying to avoid being hit with the very steep U.S. tariffs that were initially proposed.
So, that simple summer pleasure of a glass of Italian or French rosé that we look forward to will be delayed and cost more, even if not as much more as initially expected. Obviously there are worse things, but still. 
Husband picked up a few bottles of rosé that remained from last year’s stock so we are sure to have at least a little for this year.
