Anyone been to Shun Lee East, Manhattan lately?

We were invited to Sunday brunch there by friends from out of town. I know it has had mixed reviews in recent years…

Update: Now I hear we will be doing Dim Sum at Shun Lee Café on the West Side…

Did not receive any responses on this board, but in case you are interested: my Dim Sum experience at Shun Lee Café was better than expected. Some feel that Shun Lee East and West have lost their mojo, but for our party of 8 it was a fun and tasty experience. The staff was friendly and warm, our waiter Alex deserves special mention. The black and white tiled dining room with its crisp white tablecloths had sort of a retro feel. Even the regular menu still offered Chow Mein.
Well, once the dim sum carts started rolling we must have ordered 5 or 6 waves of it before we quit. A delicious climax were the Beijing Duck Wraps and crispy duck legs. Condiments were good, too, ranging from mild to spicy. After all was said and done, bill came to around $200. We did not drink, stuck to the tea.
Thanks to the crew at Shun Lee Café…
