I may not be traveling around much, I will be staying on Caye Caulker, but if any of you have favorite cafes on the Caye I would love to hear about them. So far I am looking at Reina’s, Steve’s, Meldy’s and Kareem’s but I will be there for 7 days so I will have time to dig into the cafe scene a bit, as opposed to my last quick trip to Boston. But my cafe list is just a Google search with no first hand experience. I am leaning towards Belizean Seafood, but there is a pasta place that looks interesting whose name escapes me. Is Belizean a word?
I had not even thought about it until right now, but going to Belize City as a day trip would give me a chance to try a couple cafes there, which sounds like a great idea. A 45 minute ferry is not a bad way to bookend a “cafe day”.
