Ansonia, CT: Almost fine dining hotspot

Anyone that lives north of 15 (or the Wilbur Cross Parkway) knows that it’s pretty-much a culinary wasteland until you get to a few outposts like Waterbury or Cheshire.
A handful of years back Crave opened in Ansonia. Recently, two doors down, the Copper City Bar and Grill opened. I’ve eaten there twice with others and we have all gone away pleased. It does not have a huge, extensive menu but it is good and certainly on par with Crave. It’s not noisy like Crave when busy, though I/we have only eaten there for lunch so I have no idea what it would be like when filled and busy.
I suggest you try it if in the area.
