Another high-end chain comes to NJ - woo?

Looks like Paramus is going to get NJ’s first restaurant by these guys

Looks very expensive.

If you’re not too familiar with Paramus, Bergen County or the Garden State Plaza, your best bet is to go on a Sunday when most retail is shut down because of the blue laws. Unless of course you want to shop and are willing to fight the congestion.

Paramus has more parking spaces than residents.

Agree, those prices look silly high

Looks like a hangout for The Real Housewives of NJ.

I find it ironic that none of the “Prime Seafood” is local when we have some great local fish. I bet it’s all shipped from Oklahoma.

There’s no need to drag Oklahoma into a discussion of NJ.

LOL! No offense meant. It was the first land locked state in the middle of the country that came to mind.

There’s one of these in Kansas City, never been because too expensive, but oddly looks a little cheaper than the Paramus location. The Capital Grille, another Darden property, has always been one of the more popular restaurants in KC. Oklahoma does offer Olive Garden and Red Lobster :upside_down_face:.

And onion burgers!

When I travel (did travel) I always tried to eat locally. It was almost never any thing fancy but was hopefully representative of the area. Actually, that’s how I try to eat when I’m not traveling.

I don’t understand why people go to chain restaurants & then I see my neighbor getting Dominos pizza.

Yeah… NO THANKS. I’d never heard of this group/chain but there’s absolutely nothing appealing about it, imo. If I still lived in NNJ there’s no way I’d be going - as @MsBean said, it looks like a magnet for the RHONJ or their wanna-bes. Not my scene. Having lived in southern Bergen for 15+ years, I concur - if you’re going to Paramus, do it on a Sunday.

I’ve been to the one in King of Prussia. It was a business dinner and the guests chose. For what it is it is fine, and the food was tasty and the drinks were cold.

That said, I avoid sit down restaurant chains as well…so much so that after I found out DelFrisco’s was owned by the company that owned Longhorn I was one and done with that place.

(this was ~20 years ago and I see that DelFrisco is now owned by Landry’s who bought it from a private equity firm who I assume bought it at some point from the original owners)
