Lunch on the Museumplein
For my companion in life, there were two beef croquettes. Beef mixed with a lightly spiced béchamel in a crisp coating. They come with either bread or chips. That’ll be the chips, then. This is Amsterdam after all. There’s also little dishes of mayo and mustard for dunking.
I hadn’t intended to have a vegan salad but they cocked up my order for a shrimp salad and I couldn’t be bothered sending it back. So, lentils, quinoa, lamb’s lettuce, cherry tomatoes and pecans, topped with thick slices of cooked beetroot. Came with a couple of slices of baguette and was perfectly fine.
