Sauteed Filet of Sole Meuniere (with butter, Parsley, Lemon w/ 2 sides) at American Legion Post 39 Arlington Ma. They are open to the public during lunch. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sides were excellent. This was a whopping $10.

I walk by that place on a regular basis. Had NO idea they served food. Would a family of 3 with a 7-year-old be welcomed? And is there a bar? Which the adults in our family would welcome.

Of course, there is a bar and with $4.50 Dry Martinis and they are not small. Be aware that smoking inside is allowed.

I am going to have to pay attention to your posts. My sister lives in Arlington and is always looking for new things to try. She’ll be amused if I know more about the food in her neighborhood than she does (I live in NJ).
