Sandwiches at Cheese Traveler. We stop there whenever trecking from Boston to Ohio.
Second this. We try to stop when we make our yearly trip to Lake George - fantastic fish. If you like craft beer, Newburgh Brewing and Subversive Brewing in Catskill are both worthy contenders with solid casual food.

Teds fish fry was great
Cider belly doughnut, fresh strawberry was okay, in general didn’t do it for me. They had multiple bases - cider, vanilla, and pumpkin - and lots of toppings.
