Has anyone done an Afternoon Tea at a hotel lobby space lately?
The Shangri-la used to be my favourite. They have a special Lunar New Year tea this month.
I’m not sure how busy it would be. I’m thinking it could be quite busy. (

Haven’t been to a Toronto one in years but almost went to Windsor Arms last month.
I didn’t enjoy my only visit to the Windsor Arms Tea.
I liked the Shangri-la more than the King Eddy.
I haven’t tried other hotel teas.

The Dorset now offers Afternoon Tea the last Sunday of each month for $55/ person.

Tiarrés, a breakfast spot on Bayview south of Eglinton, has an Afternoon Tea available. I haven’t been and I don’t know how much it costs. Tiarrés calls their tea with scones and party sandwiches a High Tea, but we all know the tea with scones, party sandwiches and fancies/petit fours is Afternoon Tea, and the meal served at supper time is the Tea or High Tea, a meal with tea, but without the scones, party sandwiches and fancies.

My friend mentioned Dopamina on Grosvenor St. $65 pp is a good price for Afternoon Tea in Toronto right now.

Also, apparently, the Royal York’s Clockwork does a nice job catering to vegetarians for Afternoon Tea, putting more effort into the vegetarian tea sandwiches. The price doesn’t seem to be listed on the site. My friend’s Afternoon Tea at the Royal York cost around $95 pp before tax, if I remember correctly.
