Afghan Famous Kabob in Gainesville, VA

Why can’t all kabob places do this: an open grill where flames are licking up at the kabobs of marinated meat, coming off the fire with a potent sizzle and nice char on the meat.

They do it at Famous Kabob where you can get your dark meat chicken on the bone or boneless (I prefer on the bone). The seasoned rice is a bonus. The chickpeas are as plain as you can get, though.

Definitely a noteworthy place for kabobs in the ever expanding DC metro area.

For me it would be Chapli Kabob, Boolawnee with Leeks, Aushak and/or Kadoo Chalau (Kaddo Bourani)
