Ada Boni's Talisman of Happiness, now in English

I’ve heard of this book, and there was an abridged version published some years ago. The full English translation will be available later this month, so I am very curious as to how it compares to Marcella Hazan’s recipes.
Has anyone here cooked from it? Especially from the original Italian version?
