Ad Hoc (Yountville)

Thomas Keller is obviously best known for his upscale restaurants like French Laundry, Per Se but he also has more “casual” restaurants like Ad Hoc https://www.thomaskeller.com/yountville-california/ad-hoc/our-menu where his team is still delivering well executed dishes. We hadn’t been to Ad Hoc for more than 10 years and so it was time to return. And it still delivered quite well and we won’t wait again for such a long time to return.

One of our favorites, although it seems to get increasingly “prixe fixe” feeling, for lack of a better description! You better like what is on offer. We especially love their salads.

They always were prix fixe menu over the last 10+ years

Oops! I was looking up how to spell prize fixe.

Yes, but it feels like there were more options to add on ; could be wrong though; maybe that’s just us that changed.

No, there was always a second “main” and a second “appetizer” addition/choice but nothing more. The concept of the menu hasn’t changed

Okay.
