A Single Pebble, Burlington VT

We headed up to Burlington VT Sunday to drop our youngest off at Champlain College for his Senior year. Time does fly.
Had dinner Sunday night at A Single Pebble, which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Burlington.
A very nice interior although a little loud because of all the wood.
A small bowl of peanuts and roasted wasabi to snack on while looking at the menu. We were 3 for dinner and ordered
potstickers & Sliced Barbecue Hanging Pork. The potstickers were fine, not too thick a dough and a good crunch, the hangning pork was excellent. Perfectly cooked, garlicky, a little spicy. Very well done.
Dinner was Steel Pot Sha Cha Beef and Hong Kong style Lo Mein with pork.
Both were really good, the beef came with mushrooms, broccoli and wide noodles in a steel pot. The lo mein was on angel hair with a peppery green leafy veggie and a spicy pork on top. We all had a side of steamed rice as well, not ordered but came with dinner.
There is a 9 course chef’s tasting menu that looked intriguing and that we might of tried if just the 2 of us. Maybe next time.

Sounds really good. Don’t get that far north often, but will keep it in mind. Glad you enjoyed and a nice report.
