Pizza from Lord Gainsborough in London, Ontario.
This is a family restaurant that recently changed ownership. The previous owner was an old Greek man who ran the resto for decades, and the pizza was a big draw. He taught the new owners all his recipes. The reviews online are positive.
I ordered 3 pizzas today. They all look the same in the photo because this place tops the toppings on the pizza with cheese. This is similar to Saskatchewan-style pizza.
The 3 I ordered were vegetarian (tomato, mushroom, onion), Canadian (pepperoni, bacon, mushroom) and bacon + pineapple.
The tomato sauce was underseasoned for us. It was okay but we probably won’t order pizza from Lord G again.
