Better safe than sorry I say

The Maine Health Department has already put the kibosh on it. ;(

Now there’s a surprise :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

" The inspiration for this groovy experiment comes from Switzerland, which banned the practice of boiling lobsters alive earlier this year. The Swiss government suggests stunning methods such as electrocution or a stab between the eyes prior to cooking the shellfish. Gill doesn’t like the sound of that: “These are both horrible options,” she tells the Islander . “If we’re going to take a life we have a responsibility to do it as humanely as possible.”"

Stoned or not or even completely stupefied on a cocktail of drugs, I’d rather have the instant death of being stabbed between the eyes and into my brain than to be plunged in boiling water. I think this is a stupid argument. The only one feeling better is the human not stabbing the lobster or plunging it while still frisky.

Agree completely.

If she has such strong issues with cooking/killing lobster than perhaps she is in the wrong business.

I wonder if this abuse of her medical marijuana permit will cause it to be rescinded?

It should be. If she knows anything about marijuana, she’d know THC is not water soluble. Otherwise people wouldn’t be willing to smoke their valuable stash through a water pipe. So she’s torturing the lobster by soaking it in dirty bong water for publicity and marketing.

Oh God,
My father once had to instruct my sister how to kill a rat over the phone. She was given a choice, blow to the head or the puncture method, easy for him having gone to Medical School, not so much for my poor sister! Thirty something years later and she is as traumatized as the day she did it. My father of course thought it was a wonderful accomplishment, not rat murder but the fact that my sister actually was able to pull it off, by following proper direction which resulted in a positive outcome :rat: :hammer::pick: she chose method numero uno
