From The New York Times: 68,000 Gallons of ‘Unfit’ Olive Oil Seized by Italy and Spain (gift link). I learned a new term, lampante oil, which is the lowest grade of olive oil and considered unfit for human consumption.

As mentioned in the report, crimes involving olive oil are hardly a new issue here in Europe.
