Six years ago I argued that the 300 block of Kearny St. adjacent to the Financial District was the most diverse block of the city in terms of the number of different cuisines available. I recently updated my survey and found that despite seven businesses having closed in that block, it still retains the same level of culinary diversity and shows no sign of gentrification.
