Banff - restaurant reccs, please
Quick Canadian Rockies Report - July 2023
I like stopping at Crazyweed Kitchen in Canmore near Kananaskis. Canmore has a nice French patisserie, or did, on my last visit.
Banff’s dining is often hit or miss, with quite a few tourist traps. (Saltlik, a steakhouse which I liked, has closed permanently)
Closer to Lake Louise, I like the dining room at the Post Hotel.
The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Banff Springs are lovely hotels. I find their restaurants meh.
I lived in NW Calgary for 3 years, in Kensington, which is a walkable neighbourhood with many restaurants and coffee shops just north of the Bow River.
