I’m going to try to head up to Sonoma for that. Those fires were heartbreaking, and I’ve had many wonderful times there. I hope many people will go and support the local restaurants and wineries.
Navi Kitchen has the best $10 lunch during Oakland Restaurant Week, ends January 21…we went home with leftovers for dinner.
Two of us arrived at noon to taste Preeti’s Peppah, Pav Bhaji, Love Veggie, and Grateful Guju.

thanx for the tip cs We managed to make it there at 2:00 pm yesterday with our kids and ordered the 4 dogs and 4 different types of maki.
Overall a great lunch, with really nice service at a great price point. Everything was great, except for the curry dog (the curry was not very japanesy, seemed to have a bit too much turmeric in it). the mapo tofu dog was surprisingly good
