Were The peaches sweet?
We actually bought two varieties, but the trees weren’t marked so unfortunately I’m not sure what they were. Both were yellow, but one was larger and slightly paler (skin and flesh). These were mostly sweet and not terribly complex. The others were smaller with a deeper blush on the skin and darker yellow flesh, and while they were a bit tart off the tree, they sweetened as they ripened and were quite delicious. I like tart fruit and I think peaches should be intensely tart-sweet, not just sweet, so these were just right for me.
