This is my second visit to 2 D Wok on South Virginia behind the Pollo Loco off of Plumb.
My first visit was with Steve Timko so I will not go into that meal.
Today four of us had a wonderful meal with four small plates and three main dishes.
Our small plates were
Pot Stickers which was disappointing in the I had hope for Taiwan style pot sticker and these was ready made which were just ok.
Spicy won ton were were seasoned wonderfully but the won ton themselves were a little bland.
Fried Chinese Bacon. This was piece of fried pork belly a standout.
Fried Pork Chop which was a Tomkastou with a spicy panko breading
Out main dishes were all standout versions of Taiwan food stylings.
Braised Beef Noodle Soup
Ma Po Tofu.
Kao Pao Chicken.
All three was just season with enough of heat and were cooked in a grease less offering. It is a shame I only visit once in a while I could learn to get here often.
I will be back in a couple of months.
