Evening all
Belated report from a visit at the end of October. On a Monday night, to boot and following a miserable day so we decided to cheer ourselves up. A wise decision.
Small room and lovely, friendly, front of house guy.
Starters were spot on - tuna tartare on the other side of the table - a potato beignet on anchovy sauce for me - with an unhealthy but yummy sprinkling of parmesan over the top. A real winner.
Iberico pork chop for one main and curried hake for me. A side of garlic fires just because - well - it had been a tough day. All were spot on - with the chop probably the winner.
We then had a chocolate cremeaux as a tiny ( but intense ) note of sweetness to finish.
It isn’t cheap ( £141 including service ) but if we lived down that way, it’d deffo be on our regular visits list.
