Surprised no one has mentioned The Terra Madre 2018 in Turin. I’m in Turin (coincidentally) but the Salon desl Gusto https://salonedelgusto.com/en/ is absolutely packed with people everywh re so haven’t done much except look from afar. Is anyone from HO here? Yesterday in Porta Palazzo market I have never seen as many Americans and Brits - all fumbling their way through the stalls and pronouncing the items very badly! In some ways I hope it helps Turin tourism but in other ways I wish it would remain the least touristy place it’s been for so long.
