The avatars with letters are served from a service off this site. So it may be a temporary outage with that service. Your avatar looks fine from at least my browser. If it goes on for more than half a day, can you please let me know again?

It’s back now. If you’d been here two days ago, it would have been missing.
I think at times it is a problem of cache in the navigator, empty that in the preference, and relaunch the app.
