Lime Tree, San Francisco, Clement St.

Found myself on Clement Street at lunchtime and noticed that Lime Tree opened a branch on Clement Street [The original is on Irving St.]. Got the Soto Madura, a beef stew that came with a side of jasmine rice. Sauce/broth was really good, complex flavors of lime leaves and galangal. Beef was cut a little sloppy with some pure fatty bits and could have been cooked a little longer to get tender. The server said that this branch has a larger menu with more specials than the Irving location, like crab and other seafood because of the easy access to all the Clement street markets.

Thank you! I meant to eat at Lime Tree during the December holidays, but they went on a two week vacation so my plan was foiled. Now you give me another good reason and data point to go.
