Today, September 10. He has a new book about his emergency team of chefs in Puerto Rico, “We Fed an Island”. He was awarded Humanitarian of the Year by the James Beard Foundation.

He also talks about his latest efforts in molecular gastronomy.

I adore Garces- he’s a real hero in my book, and immensely entertaining to watch.
