Neither had I until this batch. They were rock hard and emerald green when they arrived. I would never, ever have bought them in a store.
I put them in the fruit bowl with a couple of bananas that I already had to try to push them along…they faded to a really odd looking greenish-brownish-yellow, then went squishy at the ends and developed a few spots of mold.
I think they were just so green they couldnt ripen.
