<----- is a sentence!
I was recently watching a YouTube video on a pastry chef at Raymond Blancâs restaurant âLe Manoirâ, but had to stop after a few minutes as the dialogue was being drowned out by the crashing and banging âmusicâ accompanying it. I donât understand why the people who put together documentaries find it necessary to always have that noise with the dialogue.
Oh no! Was it mint?
If thatâs basil it can be revived. Basil is such a drama queen. I left my planter for a weekend in the south once, and it looked like your second pic when I got back. I almost cried.
Added a bunch of water to the bottom pan, and half an hour later it was all peppy again
Itâs a huge Marzano pepper plant I recently bought at a Mexican market. I watered it in the dark when I got home, and my fingers are crossed.
Uh oh.
TL;DR â does that include topical Benadryl (for mosquito bites)?
I donât know if this might work next time you have to go away during a heat wave.
I have covered some house plants with a big plastic bag while Iâm gone.
I am wondering if a pepper plant could be brought inside where thereâs AC, or into a cooler spot inside if you have one (realizing a lot of homes in California do not have basements!), and covered with a big plastic bag to help keep its moisture.
I kept my houseplants alive without watering them this way for a month or 2 when I was away from my apartment in the past. Mind you, a plastic bag over the pepper plant outside during a heat wave is going to cook the plant, I would think!
I hope it bounces back.
Isnât the only response to that a pitying look?
[Benadryl and dementia]
Thankfully, the effects seem limited to long term regular use, which SEEMS to mean a daily dose. The occasional use for bug bites/stings, the occasional allergy or cold relief, seem to be ok.
But Iâm not a professional researcher, and I might have misread.
Doesnât mention topicals specifically. I assumed it meant ingested only.
Iâve taken it to fall asleep. No more!
Topical admin is absorbed systemically, but only in small amounts (vs steroid or biologic drug creams that have more of a systemic effect). Even if you covered your whole back (like for the itch you might get a few days after a sunburn), I doubt (but not positive without digging out a trial) youâd get as much as a 25mg oral.
