You are a big Cher fan @bbqboy ! No disrespect!
Tremendous!
Rock and roll, what led to first song, thereâs a cool show - itâs the fri jan 22 blues show
Given the reports of âirritationâ with David Byrne by the other members of the Talking Heads, the physical dynamics of the photo above are kind of interesting. I loved the Talking Heads back in the day. If I had known how much of a jerk Byrne was I would still have enjoyed their music, I think, but maybe not.
Just think of Michael Jackson then youâll enjoy the Talking Heads more
That actually made me laugh out loud. In my defense, I was always creeped out by Michael Jackson. And the Osmonds, come to think of it. Those family bands just seemed odd to me. And Jackson took it to another level.
But I have a Jermaine Jackson story!
My friend Scott used to work at the Sonesta on Key Biscayne. Not a huge hotel, but a nice one on the beach. He was the night bellman and there was no room service so around 3 am some dude calls him up and says, âHey, this is Jermaine Jackson in 306, is there any way to get a couple sandwiches?â Scott being the guy he is, replies with âYeah? Well this is Stevie Wonder here, but I can get you a couple club sandwiches.â And Scott rolls up there 20 minutes later with a couple club sandwiches and who should open the door? Jermaine Jackson. Scott is Fâing dumbstruck and goes with the obvious, âHoly shit, you REALLY ARE Jermaine Jackson!â
Jermaine, not to be outdone, claps his hands to his face and yells, âMy God, you arenât Stevie Wonder!â
