Let’s go back to the summer of love '67
Lol, hilarious movie… And the music isn’t actually half bad!
I love it. Sequel in the works !
Hungryonion doesn’t have a dedicated movie thread, no?
I have been re-watching a few late 1970s movies, so maybe I should now add Spinal Tap to my list. Last week I saw Dawn of the Dead, and also The Driver with Ryan O’Neal. Which then immediately reminds me of the opening car chase in The Naked Gun, re Spinal Tap.
I’ve never seen the Driver but I’ve seen the Naked Gun a bunch. Not aware of any movie thread but good idea!
Here’s a car scene from a Thanksgiving classic
Oh yes, the Go-Go boots Such a great film!
This is hilarious. Probably not kid-appropriate lest you become the parents that use cuss words. And then your kid repeats them at school.
Found via questlove (who incidentally, has a food interest/biz).
@digga - keep playin the hits I like it!
I wish I had Cheetah in the kitchen, encouraging me.
I wonder if they have a Thanksgiving turkey episode. I could’ve used Cheetah’s help in years past (inadvertently roasting turkey upside down, which I found out later is a technique; not locating the bag of giblets, etc).
Food Scenes in movies but not an all comers movie thread.
Brand new?
Yes
Morrissey bailed out on his Greek theatre show after 30 minutes ! He was apparently cold.
At 32.20 min. He should have just quit performing a long time ago.
Saw this today, always subjective these things. The Guardian also feels compelled to add a few modern day acts, so they chose Beyonce…
Anyway, they could have picked so many bands, and I like that they picked Kraftwerk. Not that I listen to it a lot these days, but their influence is beyond question.
