First time at the venue First Unitarian Church in Philly. Turns out it is in the basement of the church in a great area of the city by Drexel and Penn Universities.
My wife begrudgingly goes to shows with me and most of the time I am OK with hanging back. Mostly I look for a place that she can sit down while I do my thing. Picked a spot back center by the merch tables. Bassist came through and introduced himself as Charlie and I thanked him for the hard work. He said thanks as well.
Show starts and about 5 songs in the guitarist says “Shout out to the guy in the back, I see you.” Ha! He was talking about me, and it was pretty cool.
Jumped to the front for KPR, Bashville On the Sugar, and Blister. Good night.
