Pat Metheny Group - Mars ( Close to home ) . This is the sound of the mountain. I have seen Pat multiple times . The composition and tones off the keyboard of the late great Lyle Mays are astonishing. Amazing.
And right after that .Same duo . (September Fifteenth ) . The sound is softer than a down blanket.
