When I was 12 we got cable/MTV. I thought this was the coolest thing on earth when I saw it.

I may be psst at Russia now, but some of their music is amazing, especially old folk tunes.
Love some Americana, too. Blaze can write a helluva song.
I think most of us have been at a crossroads in life. Foley ain’t immune.
John Prine (RIP, I SOOOOOO miss ya) did it justice.
Listening to a lot of Brass Against and Skunk Anansie
Ooh. I really dug that Hedonism tune when it came out.
My wife adores brass covers like that. She’s a Skunker.
I think that’s the only J5 song I’ve ever really liked.
Last Friday I heard (on the radio) a music special about the band Little Feat. The tune ‘Willin’ has become an earworm with the phrase, “give me weed, whites and wine”. Great band.
I love Adam Lambert’s version of Cher’s “Believe” at the Kennedy Center Honors. Her “whoa!” when he hit that note, and immediately standing to applaud him at the end says it all.
But how did he fake the autotune? Btw, I still blame Cher for getting that dumb ball rolling.
I’ve been telling a certain someone that, but they wouldn’t believe me. Like Eric Carmen and his borrowing from Rachmaninoff.
