Wow. I had clocked this years ago but because of Madhur Jaffery (very classy) - didn’t realise it was the past work of a current NYC mayoral candidate. Whoa.
Always loved Crowded House.
We didn’t realize they were ever on Johnny so I had to post it.
I figured this was the best place to put this. The list of songs I put, with much approval by the bar crowd, into Touch Tunes tonight at our local:
Lawyers, Guns, and Money - Warren Zevon
Ball and Biscuit - White Stripes
Jealous Again - Black Crows
Day I Was Born - Brother Dege
God’s Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash
You Got Lucky - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Hurt - Johnny Cash
Ain’t Hurting Nobody - John Prine
War - Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Dead Flowers - Steve Earle
Blue On Black - Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Happy Independence Day
I love me some original soundtracks, been enjoying some 80s classic TV theme tunes; Airwolf, A-Team, Knight Rider…
