[Toronto, St Clair West], from Bathurst to Lansdowne, including Hillcrest, Wychwood Park, Oakwood and the Corso Italia.

My friend and I had coffee at Vintage Cat Café today, after I found the Dark Horse location on St Clair W near Dufferin too crowded.

The Café is Turkish-run. The Café makes its own pastries. The staff are extremely welcoming. It’s an inviting place. The washroom is wheelchair accessible and on the main floor.

We tried the spinach feta borek/ spanakopita, which was a pretty nice version.

The coffees come with a cookie. The coffees are okay. The Café has a nice espresso machine, but the espresso based drinks are not being made in the way they are made at an Italian café or a third wave coffee shop. My friend’s Cappuccino wasn’t quite what he expected, and my flat white was more of a latte or milchkaffee. Maybe Turkish coffee is a safer way to go than ordering an espresso-based drink.
