I didn’t want to derail a food budgeting thread, so I thought I’d ask here:
Do peeps tip more for delivery than takeout? We do. If we get takeout, i.e. pick up the food ourselves at the resto, we usually tip 10% for the FOH & BOH.
But when we get delivery, we tip 20% since the driver / delivery person has to get the food to our place — more if the weather is abysmal & the roads treacherous.
Are we outliers? Trendsetters? Weirdos?
