Well being early sometimes gives you the optimum table. This past Wednesday we had a reservation at 7:00. Pretty early dining hour for the French. When we walked in there were I think 2 other tables seated. I told the hostess my name and that we had a reservation. She waived her arm across the dining room and said pick the table you want. The benefit of being early.
