Teriyaki Sauce From Scratch?

The recipe I modified-from cautions that chicken should only marinate 2 hours or less or texture suffers. Beef stew meat marinated overnight is good, but I most often just make up the sauce, pour it over the cubed beef in my roaster for the 15 minutes it takes to warm my oven and then put on the lid and bake.

Well, maybe not authentic (especially mixed with butter) but tasty and definitely hit the spot on my flank steak yesterday.

I am currently using Ginger People Spicy Ginger Teryaki Sauce and we like it.

I also like the Stonewall Kitchen Sesame Ginger Teriyaki sauce.
