We once visited Circus Circus in Reno. The buffet deal was great until all four of us got terribly ill later that night from the shrimp. Never again. I do my own shrimp at home.
I do have to say that George’s Buffet in the Dimond District of Oakland had the. best. foil. wrapped. chicken..

Taking liberties with “buffet,” here’s one of my favorite Thai desserts, ruam mit.
Choose from a bunch of sweet and not-so-sweet toppings, throw in ice, then enjoy in that Thai humidity.
